In 2016, Neptune Engineering brought their in house developed knowledge and skills to market, accurately producing segmented screw flights. These can be manufactured in a variety of materials and range of pitches and diameters up to 600mm and plate thicknesses up to 16mm. This is a new service for Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape provides a short turnaround time for Customers who need quick delivery.
Neptune Engineering has also over this time manufactured mixing augers completely in-house with a diameter of 2500mm and a thickness of 16mm in Bennox and 350 WA materials. This expertise has also been successfully applied to screw Conveyors with a Tapered OD and bore up to 300 diameter.
New markets have opened to Neptune in the rolling and forming of Ribbon Flights, Spiral Handrails and Coils.
